Remember this like it was yesterday. Watched in a pub up in Emerald Queensland as a 21 yr old kid. My how time flys.

Yes but back starting off the clown prince smacked him I was wondering if Fenech would be able to beat Paez it would be interesting if they both fought at their peek . Being an Aussie I'd like to say Fenech but I think Paez would be just to quick.

Jeff was ridiculously over confident going into this fight his ego had gotten so big since the fight in Vegas with Azumah ,hands down and thinking Grove didnt have the punch to hurt him but as we all see that punch had murder written all over it!

@@blaqjoker9105 Jeff just throws multiple punches durin that fight. He only won the last round. Because of his aggression, one may thing he won. Remember at a point in time he pushed Azuma for him to fall which Azuma could have claimed he's hurt. In no ware Jeff could beat azuma at their prime

Both fighters weren’t even 30 yet. Fenech had only 1 loss. How could you say he was washed up. I just think that Fenech wasn’t as good as he was made out to be. He was a mauler with limited boxing skills. He was undoubtedly a tough guy but when he faced boxers with speed and power this was the result.

Fenech was nothing more than a brawler. He had limited boxing skills but he was one hell of a tough guy. The marquess of queensbury rolled over in his grave every time Fenech fought. Too bad the ufc wasn’t around when he was in his prime. He probably would have been a great mma fighter.
