I worked with a guy that was exactly like Jeff Spicolli and he was always happy. Not just because he constantly smoked pot and drank like a fish. He just had this stress free ignorance about him that I actually envied at times. Nothing seemed to upset him, most people liked him, he had an uncanny way of escaping problems and was seemingly oblivious to the outside world. He was a few years older than Jeff's age in the movie and I still wonder what happened to him.

in the end, it just comes to show you money isnt the way you can work all your life and be miserable or you can spend your life doing what you want to do with your time, we are only on this earth for so long, dont waste it working for someone else, do what makes you happy, money can buy alot of things but it cant buy true happiness thats why rich people are so depressed, you yourself can only find that in life, nothing else. im 25 never had a high paying job, never had a girlfriend, hell never even kissed a girl, but yet i still wake up everyday and i bet im happier then alot of people, because i do what i want with my time im not on anybodys elses time im on my own time.

It's "some tasty waves and some cool buds and I'm fine." He's so stoned/baked out of his mind, with the munchies. He says it backwards! That's what's so funny about it. I'm surprised more people didn't pick up on the joke. Some cool buzz doesn't make any sense even with Spicoli saying it. Lol. I notice this back in the 80s when I was a kid.
