Michael Jordan is widely overrated when it comes to playing during the time where it was an expansion happening all over the league. A lot of teams were garbage and were top heavy, very top heavy. He got to play against a bunch of scrubs let’s just be honest here in this generation, you got guys on the bench that would drop off 2530 points. It’s a lot harder to win in this generation of people still don’t realize that.

I’ll admit I was a Bron hater his first 7 years because they was really giving him the crown when Kobe, TD, KG, Dirk etc etc were still in their prime I just felt it was too soon to be crowning him as the next MJ. 2013 was a turning point for me where I saw a different more mature Bron and since then I’ve been a fan. He is the greatest Basketball player ever, you’re a Casual if you say it’s Jordan straight up. Jordan’s early years is basically Prime Westbrook. He needed Tex & Phil’s Triangle Philosophy to master the sport and that’s when he started winning with great teammates year in and year out. Bron had the game mastered by the age of 18 really think about that, imagine those first 7 years with shooters around him and a decent #2 beside him. He was carrying those Cavs teams by himself!! FOR 7 YEARS!! I regret even hating on him those first 7 years solely off the fact that he was carrying a group of veteran NBA players as a kid!! Lol

I look at it like MJ is the great basketball player ever. He brought the sport to international levels. The shoe, the marketing, culture icon, etc. And he was the epitome of a 2 way player being multiple time scoring champion and DPOY. In today's NBA, I can't imagine really anyone who could be that level of a 2 way franchise player. Plus, MJ won at the college level as well with a game winner. He objectively has won at every level while also denying a chip for nearly every single HOF player of his generation. Mjs primary weakness is the 3 point line. LeBron though is by far the greatest NBA player of all time. All around player, scoring leader plus ranked in assists and rebounds. The longevity, he brought a chip to every team he's been on, and he lived up to every piece of the hype and more. The dude never played college and was born ready for the NBA while improving in every single statistical category. Kobes legacy has been overshadowed by LeBron and MJ, but I believe Kobe is the greatest scorer in history. Greatest work ethic and yes he was a fantastic defender, but his mentality at the end of the day was to dominate. Curry greatest shooter and pg Shaq greatest center and most dominate player in history. You drop shaq in any era and nobody stops him Tim Duncan is the greatest pf, by far. You put these 6 guys together and it's unstoppable on both ends of the court.

@@bikesgoodgasbad never said it was something to overcome, I completely agree, LeBron changes teams when it serves him best But it is a fact he brought a championship to every team he's been on with a team that he constructed. I can't think of anyone else who can say that when they were the number 1 option and basically the GM. It's the same as how nobody can find a Jordan chip without pippen. Or how Kobe didn't win unless he had a dominate big man. And neither Jordan nor Kobe could win without Phil. And they all had opportunities to win in different ways, but they couldn't. All 3 of them found a formula that fit them and when they stuck with it, they won When it's facts, it is what it is.

@@cheetah219but lebron also never won without an all star so I’m not sure what make his rings so special? You say MJ and Kobe needed so and so but lebron also needed so and so. The difference is Kobe and MJ so and so were the same but lebron’s were different but it doesn’t make it more impressive. His sidekicks were better than pippen. Wade and AD are both better than pippen so I don’t understand why it’s so Impressive that he had different sidekicks.
@cheetah219
3 ай бұрын
@@tomstorm7926 the all star or all nba costars are pretty much a requirement, I won't ever deny that since really only 04 pistons won without a generational talent on their squad in recent years. My point was LeBron seems more interesting because he constructed the teams around him but each team was different. Mj and pippen only won together, so MJ never proved he could win under another coach, or different Co star, etc. Kobe never won without a dominate big man. LeBron has won with dwade and the bosh which played very differently to his cavs with kyrie and now with AD. I think seeing that longevity and winning under different team structures and completely different coaching schemes etc is not necessarily why I think LeBron is the all time goat, but he's likely going to stand the test of time and in hindsight will be seen as the goat because of his longevity and when looking at what he's done with Time's rose tinted glasses.

The man's genetics plus the millions he spends in training and conditioning I'm not surprised. Great feat though.

So why would he be able to play 30 years and other players not? It’s because he is taking something!! Don’t need proof, it’s physically impossible for someone to do what he is doing without whatever it is he is taking. Some type of performance enhancement.

People forget KD played for the Seatle Supersonics and Lebron is the only player from the 2003 and 2004 draft thats still in the league

Vince doesn’t count he was coming off the bench, that’s like saying all the years Haslem played. Nah mane Bron starting and still putting up 30 points.
