It's crazy looking at Tony Jefferson on the podium considering I last seen him at the church we grew up in back in 98 before I joined the military when he was a youngin. He's come a long way, and he comes from a family of great athletes 💯

I'm liking the fact that a lot of these guys grew up as chargers fans and hopefully they go 110%

Man I want Jefferson to make the roster. San Diego born guy, came out of retirement. I want him to succeed. Also, congrats to Aholi and his family on the baby! 💓💓

Give us more of TJ. Loved hearing his perspective from working as a scout back to a player.

Body language-- everytime Popper asked a question, Lo crossed his arms (defensive, scrutinous). The PA rep in the organization is briefing the players now that Daniel Popper is fishing for "gotcha" material to write about...

They were doing this last year too. Watch some of the Herbert interviews where his demeanor changed every time Popper asked him something

Gotcha material is an interesting way to describe a journalist asking questions so that he can gain insight into the team. The reason he's the teams best beat reporter, is because he asks the questions that nobody else is willing to ask.

@@blane237 not really. They're barnacles. If it bleeds, it reads. He asks questions so he can spin in the juiciest way. It's gross. They're less concerned with what is true, than what they can propagate for more likes/subs/followers and camera time. Popper is annoying because he so obviously uses that playbook. If you know a "journalism" major in college, and they're honest, they'll tell you about how they learn about/how to be propagandists. (Professionally, of course). He doesn't care about the team, he wants juicy material to burnish his resumé for his next job being a barnacle in pro sports.

The end of this video is telling. He compares Minter vs Staley and why they prefer the minter way

Obviously a player but he had a coaching role last year so that’s why it seems that way

Can JT Woods be worked out as CB or WR!!! Any athletic position that doesn't require tackling? He should be a, potentially crazy, special teams player of note.

Alohi said, "not a lot of grey area" when asked about coaching and scheme...Hmmm
