Sometimes we are forced to listen to it when certain retail establishments have it blasting over the speaker. I hate that. Nothing worse than trying to grocery shop to today's so called "music'.

Back when they wrote great songs with soul. Instrumentation and substance. Nowadays you get hoooo’s and haaah’s and heeee’s and voice altered recordings with nothing but a simulated keyboard and repetitious nonsense. Marty Balin has a mellifluous voice. Flows so nice. The instruments are tasteful and with dynamics. Great timeless song. So long Marty but we will remember your great music.

@@fuzzy6813 Dont be hurt by my opinions . I like the Dragonfly album okay , and Grace's second album , tho a little over produced , has some good songs . What I am describing is the gradual breakdown of the quality of the releases , which to me reveal a lack of giving a hoot on the part of Paul , Grace and Marty . Im sure they had their reasons , personal and maybe problems with the industry pressures , etc . My standards are earlier releases like VOLUNTEERS , CROWN OF CREATION , etc . They were great visionairies , but also human . I respect them as people , but in my opinion , they stopped caring , for some reason .

They were struggling before Woodstock. Throughout the 60s they started getting really good throughout the seventies excellent. Some of that '80s stuff was a little weird. Because I knew them beforehand. And that sound that they used to have. I love them with all my heart and soul. I can go back in time throughout the sixties and seventies of their music. And relive my growing up. In the feelings I had back then they come back so strong. Are we ever going to get that sound again never. But I have their memories still in my mind and my heart and my soul 👀
