I know this is an old video, but I'd recommend clipping your carabiners with the gate facing opposite directions. The main two reasons are that first, you are much less likely to unclip both by accident, something that may happen when exhausted and the attention span falls. And the other is that it is also much less likely for both of them to accidentally open and unclip themselves (from banging into rocks, wedging against something, etc. When the gates face the same direction, the same wedge could open both, but when facing the opposite, it's incredibly unlikely for the same incident to open both)

I have done a few of these routes. Going in with apprehension is what gets you hurt. I take these routes knowing something can happen. You go prepared then adjust as needed. If you go in scared, guarantee you are going to fail.

Congratulazioni, bella esperienza!

Do not trust to much to the wire... It can be having cut from falling rock, if you take the longe crossing your arm you will have a smoother progression and not have to go backwards

@@karlhoff6285 No, you're still belayed, but coming from a trad climbing background you dont pull yourself up by the rope unless as a last resort ... you rock climb with the cable and harmess just as protection.

Image the guys that had to traverse that the 1st time with all the equipment needed to secure the route. Also realize the camera limits your peripheral view, making things look more intense since you are limited in perspective. Still amazing, but doable to experienced trekkers

What boggles my mind is: if you are all the time so out of breath and breathing through your mouth, how don't you become exhausted in a very short time? If you need to breathe through your mouth, it is a clear indication that you are demanding too much of your body and that you are constantly too close to your VO2max limit.
