Great details! I've never seen the kimura done that way. Usually I see the leg come over the opponents head to raise them up and then finish. Did your coach say why they prefer that method? Thx again for the vid!

Thank you for the support. So with the sprawl back & cobra movement you are putting a ton of pressure on your opponent and you are shifting straight back which doesn’t allow them to sit up. Often times I see people tilt in side control giving the person opportunity to sit up if that makes sense. In that case 8 would step the leg over to control the head. Hope that helps. If you are setting this up correctly, the bottom person should be uncomfortable due to the amount of pressure. You can check out my coach @serafinbjj channel as well!
