Ms JE that’s a fantastic song. The lyrics on point. We need great relationships with one another and forgiveness though hard sometimes is the only thing that brings family and friends together. We should emulate and live the story of the prodigal son in the Bible. My sister your dance steps are on point. I love you and your music. Keep it up. 👏🏾👍🏾

THE SUMMARY: He who hears the voice, call, outcry or plea of a brother/kinsman/friend/affiliate should not run(turn a deaf ear or act indifferent or unconcerned), because the enemity of brotherhood shouldn't get to the bones(ie shouldn't deepen) for we're are still bloodlines. She used some Igbo adages and proverbs but the one that stood out was: the corpse of the dead can only be washed, cleaned up or taken care of by his brethren(that's according to real Igbo traditions before the advent of modern practices like mortuary) and advised discord and mischief makers to exit because I have reconciled/ made peace and reunited with my brother/brethren. This is both connotation and denotation. The inadequacies of the lagging(weak, offender, less privileged)can only be covered by the abilities(strengthen, ability, uprightness and forthrightness)of the standing(fortunate one). However, English interpretations dilute the depth, scope, context and actual feelings, emotions and meanings of local palances. I hope my little effort helps, thank you.

Hello Ify Okoro, thank you for appreciating my little effort, I didn't study English but I have a good background in English and Igbo and can interprete and write both well. A good understanding of context, reading wide, listening to the original owners of the languages can help. It is also important to understand the vocabulary of every topic/tittle in discussion as well as colloquial usages in such fields in any language. Everything will take some interest and a little more extra(time, money, patience, focus, travels/mingling, failing and succeeding, etc). What it takes to be good in any language are the basis, usually overlooked(the articles, pronouns, verbs and their conjugation, first, second & third persons singular and plural, etc), The vocabularies are bricks on these foundations. Thank you again, bye.

Deep and good music is not about your understanding of what is been said (you may understand or you may not) - inspired words/tune & writing has the same frequency. I fell for each of the words of the song without knowing what any meant. The rhythm is soothing, her voice gave a warm embrace and the backup was enough...............when I learnt the whole song is cycled around brotherly love (I stand to be corrected), I thought to myself why would she waste this rhythm on a lyrics that is not praising or ushering the singer into the presence/kingdom of a diety (GOD) but I was quickened to the parable of Jesus about how he was Hungry, Thirsty and Homeless........... Whatever you do to a brother is part of the cycle of the kingdom of God. Any can please help me to the line by line interpretation ( Do I need to understand the song 🤔 🤔 🤔)
