1. What does J-lo have to do with Motown? Nothing! 2. Given the anti Black racism in Latin America itself…directed towards Afro-Latinos…WHY are we surprised? 3. This is in spite of the Wayans family, Jarule, Wesley Snipes , Diddy, and other Black Americans creating and maintaining J-Lo’s career. So whoever allowed this woman to make a Motown tribute in the first place should be called on the carpet. No, a good example of a "black and brown coalition" is made up of people who respect each other, are open to authentic learning and recognizing that hating each other is just what White Supremacy wants, and know when to pass up on something that should be celebrated and performed by the right people. J Lo has always been for herself. Latinos only started liking her because of her part in Selena, because it was thought she filled the hole Selena left when she died. But despite what she says or thinks, she is no Selena. Not in talent, and definitely not in the care and compassion Selena had for people.

That's a damn shame! JLo wouldn't even have a career if it wasn't for a black man!

Why didn’t JLO extend that Motown performance to one of her black friends instead of taking on that project for herself. In my opinion, the individual that gave it to her did it on purpose to piss off black people.

Her publicist pushed for it. She wasn't asked. Her team pursued it.

I can't believe she was trying to do a tour. She hasn't had a hit since the 90s.

That's Motown's fault. All the black and R&B singers available and black venues keep picking JLo who is not known as an R&B singer.😗 If they wanted diversity, Adele would've even killed it.

I mean yes, there's JLo's part. But let's not forget that the Recording Academy was mad tone deaf for picking JLo in the first place. Like sure, Motown has influenced many non-black artists and I'm not against them being part of the tribute. I'm not for gatekeeping music. But JLo? The JLo who has been accused of appropriating cultures (black culture, the block, the Bronx...) for the majority of her career? Like what was the thought process? Hell, they could've even had a more Motown adjacent non-black artist like Bruno Mars do the tribute and that would've made more sense.

6:13 Katt Williams did say 2024 is going to be the year that the truth come out about everyone's garbage that they're hiding. I think Katt Williams might be an Oracle. Lol

You got to be kidding me. What in the Hell is the people doing that runs this. We as black people don't do tributes or they do not ask a black person to do a tribute to Hispanics. Have you ever seen this 😳. I love everyone and everybody but really come on now.
