He is one of the best male Broadway pure belters for sure. He really doesn't have any super weak spots. Btw those D5s and E5s sound free to me. I do tend to prefer legit Broadway singers, but I recognize greatness when I hear it. I would love to see you cover Natalie Weiss. I don't know what to feel about her, so I feel your take would be interesting.

As a male belter in training... vocalizing in a pure head voice is HARD. Classical training for male voices puts so much emphasis on TA activation that it becomes exceedingly hard to let go of some of it to ascend in the upper register. We often end up being more comfortable mixing in the 5th octave than we are using head voice.

I identify so much with his timbre and even the not existent headvoice. I can belt and mix into the stratosphere but if feels like there's no headvoice in between. I'm curious if you generally consider this "Tenor" timbre? I feel that this is more of a Spinto or Dramatic Tenor (2nd tenor) with a high belting range and a big voice, but I call myself a Baritone with range for good measure. I'm still coming to terms with having a loud / belty voice but I wonder if this is a natural thing.
