Any owner who can let go a player who brought you this much excitement and money and above all WINS, has to have his head examined. This guy fell on our laps from heaven, for nothing, he did all this on $100k dollars a year. Then instead of offering a contract immediately that Lin had to accept no matter what, lets him go to Houston for nothing. James Dolan finally has hired a brilliant mind like Phil Jackson, but Jeremy was special to watch. He shines in big moments and finds a way to win if you give him the chance. Driving to the basket, pick and rolls, making others play well are his strengths. Letting Jeremy Lin go after what he accomplished in NY has to be the BIGGEST DEBACLE in business and sports in the history of NY.

Good thing D'Antoni gave Lin, the bench warmer at the time, the freedom to play his position. If McHale was the coach, Linsanity will not happen. Love that Clyde the Glide Frazier, not so much the other Clyde. Now coming off the bench again in Houston, Lin scored a triple-douple under 30 minutes, only two others did that in the NBA. What a nice way to start out February again.

Who is Clyde the Glide Frazier? I've heard of Clyde The Glide Drexler. I've also heard of Walt "Clyde" Frazier, legendary point guard of the New York Knicks. But I've never heard of Clyde The Glide Frazier. Walt Frazier was never known as "The Glide".

I've been rewatching Melo's games with Lin since itbecame well known that Melo disliked playing second fiddle. Notice how Melo continues to pass the ball to Lin even when Lin isn't making the outside shot Melo even passed the ball to Lin when time was running out even though on all the passes Melo had a good look at the rim. Lin felt so bad about his outside shot that he drove on the basket, Melo is a real bastard of a player and teammate.

Frankly speaking, this is not just about bball playing, it's about the will and spirit for an underdog who can excel under pressure! We as an ordinary human being in a hard time should learn from Jeremy's story. I think that's all we can get from this game!

"doesn't even stand a chance..." even though the commentator took it back it's disrespectful that he said that before d will even shot the ball. Don't pity Kobe's achilles, Melo's team, or KD's ringless career before Lin.

He didn't say Douglas had better stats, he said he was a better defender, scorer, player... All that has NOTHING to do with stats now OR at that time. And NO they don't have esp so they shouldn't be making STUPID remarks about a player they have no idea about other than he came off the bench. This is the NBA. Players get there for a reason. All I'm saying is that commentators need to stick to comments and facts and LIKE Douglas having better stats and NOT making assumptions.

Damn, Jeremy Lin embarrassed D. Williams that night. Williams couldn't even guard Lin. Took him to the basket at will. No wonder D Williams was pretty much scoreless after Jeremy was in. He felt ashamed to be schooled by a guy he has never heard of.

Yao wasn't American though. I believe that there would be a different kind of connection to Lin for Asian Americans. Also being great in NY is different then being great in Houston. Lin brought a lot of great attention to Asian people in America during that run. While the torch has been passed I wish the Knicks would of brought him back because seeing the national media talk about a great Asian American Basketball player would of been great.Unfortunately they only pay attention to big city teams.

An unexpected gift making basketball at MSG exciting again. It brought in ex Kincks fans once more who had given up on the them years ago. It brought in the general public who had not paid attention to any basketball games including the NBA playoffs. Knicks were on a roll, the center of attention, with MSG stock value going through the roof on the order of $100 million. It was easy to make Lin an offer and keep him forever as a Knicks and then Dolen throw it away and got nothing in return.

Did you completely forget about Yao Ming? Since he started playing for the Rockets is when the Asian community started to come out and show support for the game. Toyota Center serves chinese food at all the games and it has been like that since the early 2000's.Jeremy Lin couldnt come to any other city but Houston. The torch is his now since Yao is retired.Lin is definately the new star for the current generation of Asians fascinated with the sport of basketball.i do agree with you tho, just sayin
