Thank you! Great song, great lesson. Exactly the right level for where I'm at with my guitar ability. That D/C# is a good challenge.

You're welcome! Best tip I can give you is try to play every day, even if it's not practice and just having fun. :). KZitem is a great resource, but line it up with a chord chart and see what matches and doesn't match with some of your favorite songs you'd like to learn down the road. God bless!

hi brother, thanks a ton for sharing. God bless you more. I need a help with the e minor shape, is it same as the D shape that you are playing.
@Musicman4Christ

Yes - you can get away with playing a D2 and pluck the low E, G, high E, and B in the picking pattern. During the chorus, you can use the Em7 shape (like at 7:47) - hope that helps!

Great Tutorial!! Im currently looking to buy a guitar and was wondering if you have any recommendations? Im learning that most guitars are mostly laminated and I don’t like the sound. Im looking for a guitar with actual wood.

I was in the same boat. My Breedlove has served me well and although I'm not sure what kind of wood it's made of, it's definitely heavier than other guitars I believe for that reason (not made of composite/laminate) - when I was shopping around before I bought it, I played Martins and Taylors and they seemed too light for me - bought my Breedlove used and haven't looked back :). Some Takamines aren't too bad but whatever you decide try to play as many different guitars as you can and go from there.
