This is from the pre-PBS TV show "Soul!" (prduced by Ellis Haizlip featuring live Black entertainment from all all aspects of the Black experience). I believe was aired January 12, 1972. The female is Brenda Lee Eager, who was leader of the group Peaches and also collaborated with Jerry on "Is It Real What I Feel", "Walk Easy My Son", "(They Long To Be) Close To You", "I Only Have Eyes For You" and an entire album released in 1973 entitled "The Love We Have, The Love We Had."

'COOK COUNTY COMMISSIONER', JERRY BUTLER was TOO KIND to ME in JUNE 1993 when I was FRUSTRATED COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST for the NEWLY OPENED 'PROVIDENT HOSPITAL of COOK COUNTY and WALKED RIGHT IN WITHOUT an APPOINTMENT, and sort of just 'BOGARDED' ( a CHICAGO EXPRESSION 😎) MY WAY IN to HIS OFFICE where HE 'HEARD ME OUT'😜(COMPLAINING about MY BOSS and some other 'STOOPID' STUFF, but I can HONESTLY SAY that HE 'ACTED' on MY CONCERNS! And I was PRIVILEGED to CREATE a PHOTO MEMORY of HIM that DAY in JUNE 1993! 'The ICEMAN' was JUST as SMOOTH and JAZZY at the COUNTY BUILDING as HE IS in 'THIS' VIDEO, and how bout YEARS AGO, I was 'BLOWIN' 'THIS' SONG also, as 'LADY SNOW' from the 'WINDY', aka the CITY of CHICAGO!💃🏽 BIG UP for UPLOADING and UPLIFTING✌🏽💜

This recording takes me back to my childhood, growing up in Chicago but, there is no way I could have comprehended it's meaning, just a young child hearing a song on AM radio, that echo chamber sound that I remember, guiding me thru so many precious but rushed but treasured memories. Now, having been married 31 years to a dear wife who when I met her had already suffered a spinal cord injury, but, now dealing with cognitive issues. I still cannot imagine, on any level, what you are carrying, no amount or words or comments, none...
