RedneckSpaceMan even back then WWF wasn’t as good as this. It was all characters at the top of the card. Beginning in the mid to late 80’s their midcard blew away the top of their card in match quality and characters. Look at DiBiase, Dusty Rhodes, Randy Savage, Curt Hennig, Hart Foundation, etc. The guys they poached from the other companies would CONSTANTLY outperform Hulk Hogan and his monster heel of the week at the top of their card.

To me when Jimmy Hart left Memphis his career in wrestling took a nose dive. He's been a trooper about it all for years and years but his career as villain extrodinaire in CWA took a nose dive. I honestly think Vince McMahon did all he could to get him to New York. Got him there and then didn't know what to do with him once he was their? And rather than say hey Jimmy I made a mistake. Sorry dude. Go back down to Memphis he kept him their, paid well for his mistake and the rest is history. But Hart was at his best in Memphis. Down South period. Classic wrestling moment yet again.
