What a humble guy. Love the fact that most of the NFL players who were the greatest at their position never make that claim themselves and always give credit to those that came before.

How can Jerry Rice run when he is 42 but Dez Bryant can't when he's 29
@matthewholm4530
6 жыл бұрын
Because Jerry Rice is not 42. He was 42 when he played his last year in Seattle back in 2004, and he had serious issues catching the football at that point. I don't know if it was a chemistry thing between him and Matt Hasselbeck or if his hands were just going away, but I imagine he would have played longer had he not had that awful last year in Seattle.

So many people bitching about nomenclature instead of appreciating a sporting legend sharing his knowledge. It's fine if you think gridiron football shouldn't be called football, but you don't see American football fans going on soccer or rugby videos and bitching about the sport. It's perfectly fine to critique gridiron football but I'm willing to bet most people spamming "This sport isn't football" don't know the first thing about the game.

6:22 - College players are compensated via full-ride scholarships (tuition, room and board, books, fees, and insurance) worth upwards of $250,000. Also, with the exception of a very small percentage of NCAA division 1 schools, the football players are actually costing the universities far more money than they are generating. The overwhelming majority of college football programs lose money, and have to be supported by fees charged to regular students, and in the cases of public universities, the tax-payers as well.
