I love this. Classic ironic Jerry. He does his own thing. He's unique. That's good. I never watched his show and he's not my favourite standup, and that probably goes back to his emotionless approach. And displaying emotions is a big skill of actors, something he no doubt wants no part of, if what he says about his emotionless approach to life even outside of comedy is true. Not really my cup of tea, but I can appreciate Jerry's uniqueness.

Acting is easy, there are hundreds of child actors. On the other hand, there are 0 child stand-up comedians. Besides, the first time the kids were heckled they'd be crying!
@basilmweramakokha9557
4 жыл бұрын
The difference between acting and comedy is for humor to work the audience must understand the premise and be able to relate to it in the most presently self aware manner possible. I can envision a child comedian and one that's funny (btw, child comedians do exist and some are even funny). But generally, ofc people would prefer adult comedians because they can relate better and understand the context of the premise in a more presently self aware manner. Childhood is years off for most adults. Whilst in a movie a child would be playing a child's role. It's not easy just requires a different skillset. And premise for every movie is already set the moment you look at the screen: it is an entertaining story in an alternate reality.
