Just a little tip: Can you see @9.13 when you reveal, that the green edges have bled further than the green middle, to stop this from happening, make a whole green one first, then once dry, snap it in half, put the dry half back in and then pour the marble over the other side, you will get a cleaner blend. If you have 2 of the same molds, then you only have to make up the marble side once and pour it into the 2 molds with the dry green in. If that makes sense.

The ratio of 2,5 means there's always 40% liquid and 60% powder, right? I would try filling a mold with some dry rice or water and then weigh it. If a mold takes 100g of water, it might take 40g of jesmonite liquid and 60g of powder. It's a bit more tricky than going by volume because water and jesmonite probably don't have the same density. That's why I would consider dry rice as well. That's just my thought process lol. These turned out absolutely stunning. My favorite is the square tray because the white blended into the green in such a beautiful way. I love these kinds of happy accidents. You probably wouldn't be able to recreate the effect if you actually tried to do it and that makes it special.

Thanks so much , it’s a lot of calculations to get my head round at this time of night , will have to look again tomorrow in the day, lol Yeah that’s what’s great about making things , sometimes what you don’t plan to do actually works out better . Thanks for your help x

@Clairescraftycorner was the first tutorial I watched. She’s brilliant. To measure amount of jesmonite needed, I put my mould on scales whilst pouring. I made a silicone mould myself so I had no way of knowing the volume prior. Great video. Thank you 😊
