Yet another magnificent MyFIVE episode. Jessica your work is brilliant. I knew of Alex's work. Thank you for introducing me to Chris and the others. I am alway at awe of war photographers. They literally risk their lives everyday to bring us these heartbreak moments. Thank you both for this fantastic episode. My town rocks again!!

That was a very moving MyFIVE episode, Jessica's commentary on the photos and what they represented to her was very personal. I will now and look for Chris Hondros' work and be prepared to be confronted.

Excellent, excellent choices by such a good photographer. From a career perspective, I think I get where Jessica is coming from with her comment that she doesn't necessarily consider herself an artist. However, looking at her work, I would. Thank you for showcasing this side of photography, this is the side of things that I personally feel most compelled by and I was not aware of everyone she mentioned (including, embarrassingly as I live in Boston myself, Grossfeld). Just one small request though; it would be nice if you could add to the youtube video description at least the names of the photographers, if not the names of the specific photos. I appreciate you probably want folks to watch to the end but I need to wishlist books by these folks lol.

This was a good interview with interesting images. However, some of the images lose impact without her telling the background of it. Maybe that is true of most photojournalism? Excellent video.

Gary, it's a good point. Some background was provided in our conversation. We try to keep the videos to around 15 minutes to work with the algorithm. We will try to do better with the editing in the future
