This is raw. Like an open infected wound raw. Simultaneously mesmerising but yet disgustingly nasty. What's not to love about this. It's the epitomy of musicians doing whatever the f they like, doing it well and giving 100% commitment to the cause. How it should be. Even if it's not your cup of tea you can respect what they are doing. It's like the perfect antidote for commercialism in music.

1991 jesus lizrad played 2 nights casbah san diego (the old club capacity of 19 small people) next night , coconut teazer Hollywood with voodoo doll (whom i played drums) they instantly blew out my brains, i never wanted play music again or hear music again, or see music again, or record ever again. So i did all of the above for 30 plus years. I still try to run across water . Thankyou and may God let you in the pearly gates.

This band is the shit. Their dynamic with the audience reminds me of Painters and Dockers-love and vitriol mixed together with sweat and pure "don't give a fuck" attitude. I think the lead singer will be very happy if he dies on stage. Tremendous stuff.

I saw these guys in the early 90s in Portland. I used to listen to Scratch Acid a lot too. Yow is something else. Good dude. I saw one of his other bands too but I don't remember their name. Saw Yow a few times when he came around

Ive never seen a live dehydration in my life, this guy is drying on stage and nobody is helping him! He tried to get off the stage but ppl pushed him back, how cruel! So sad Y_Y he ended up checking his pulse, he was having a stroke already :(

I saw them a few times in the UK through the 90's. Most notably 1993 at the Wulfrun Hall in Wolverhampton. They played to a room of around 150 people and still to this day it was one of, if not the best live performances iver ever seen... Yow is mesmerising... I was 16 at the time and i was thrilled at the idea of either being spat-on, exposed or punched by him... :)
