@@davediamond7228 how? he's colloquially known as the person who founded JPL and the main driver behind its success. Makes no sense to not mention him.

William Hayward Pickering, perhaps the most influential director of the JPL, all the way from the little town of Havelock New Zealand. A great man.

It's actually Alta Dena....but what do I know, I lived next door to JPL....literally.....

would it surprise you that jpl use an oakgrove ave, Pasadena address ? if you look at a map of Pasadena border lines, you will see it snakes it way through the middle of flintridge and altadena ...however, the bulk of the lab is in the Flintridge side
