AUDIO ISSUES AT CERTAIN TIMES!!!! SORRY IN ADVANCE!!!!
Welcome to another full flight video!! This trip is new to me for several reasons. This was my first time flying without a parent. This was my first time flying with friends, and this was my first time traveling to Portland Oregon! I flew out to PDX with 3 other girls from my church to attend a Unitarian Universalist General Assembly that just so happened to be held in Portland. I arrived at Boston's General Edward Lawrence Logan International Airport pretty early in the morning to catch a 7:05 flight to PDX on a JetBlue Airbus A320. Our gate was originally supposed to be gate C14 but at the last minute was changed to the infamous gate C19! For those who don't know, gate C19 used to belong to United before they moved to terminal B at Logan and that certain gate was the same gate that the doomed passengers boarded United Airlines flight 175 on a warm September morning in 2001. Out of respect (even after United moving) JetBlue kept the American Flag flying above the gate! The overall flight was smooth, very enjoyable, and it was really fun to have my friends onboard! The aircraft itself was about 8 years old at the time and still had the older "chunky" seats, which were a little worn out, but still more comfortable then the couch in my living room! Our flightpath had us flying over the trans-canadian boarder for the majority of the flight before dipping back into Montana and then Oregon, so that meant the DirecTV and the satellite radio was finicky at times :-( During our decent into PDX we flew pass a snow-capped Mt. Hood and saw Mt. St. Helens in the distance. We touched down in PDX at around 10:30-ish SPT. While we taxied to the gate I saw a Frontier A320 and a Southwest B737 in the new livery as well as my first Hawaiian Airlines A330-200! They are without a doubt more pretty in real life! After retrieving our bags, my friends and I headed towards the TriMet MAX (Metropolitan Area Express) that would take us to the city center. Stay tuned for more exciting videos from this trip!!!!
