Jethro Tull, my favorite band , the power of this band is unique , few bands have this power besides the intelligent in music and the ability of doing progressive rock music , in my opinion is the band that makes the rhythm changes better in the progressive rock .

Watching this again: I think Doane had to reinvent what Barrie had done originally, he couldn't just copy it. That makes it even more impressive Doane made it through. I also read in a JT book that Doane did not play with double bass drums before joining Tull. Very impressing watching all the guys performing here, like they were all supercharged!

Great show... every time I watch a show from late ‘84 early ‘85 though I just want to jump in a time machine and go back to grab Ian during that era, and play him a tape of what he sounds like now to try to convince him to take a hiatus and not wreck his voice by pressing on through that tour.

Great music, especially great versions of Black Sunday, Living In the Past, Serenade To A Cockoo, and that tremendous almost heavy metal version of Locomotive Breath with the drumset imitating a hissing steam engine in the unusual introduction. And I like Anderson's grey bearded look, appearing like a man twenty years older than he was in 1985, rocking the stage as if there was no tomorrow. I can also easily tolerate some straining in the singing, which makes Aqualung sound as desperate as it befits the lyrics. Without the silly hats, the naughty jokes and band members animating the audience to clap their hands it would be perfect. I hope I will hear a proper stereo release before I die.
