For starters, the Jetour Dashing has a contemporary exterior design that attracts attention from every angle. Its stylish and aerodynamic profile has bold lines and distinctive lines. The front panel is dominated by a wide radiator grille with bright LED headlights that provide ample illumination. Aggressive lower bumper design and 19-inch alloy wheels increase its sporty appeal. It really looks like a baby Lamborghini Urus without the supercar price tag (and performance). Ground clearance isn't too bad either, and to drive it, this car really attracts attention. It was a sight to behold when it was delivered to me, as I'm partial to black cars, but the red version was also a head-turner. Jetour Dashing is available in both regular petrol and PHEV plug-in hybrid versions. The regular gasoline version comes with two engine options; 1.5-liter turbo engine and 6-speed manual transmission or 6-speed dual-clutch transmission or 1.6-liter turbo engine paired with 7-speed DCT transmission. The 1.5-litre turbo engine produces 115 kW (156 PS; 154 hp) at 5,500 rpm with 230 N⋅m (170 lbf⋅ft) of torque between 1,750 and 4,000 rpm. The 1.6-litre turbo engine develops a maximum power of 145 kW (197 PS; 194 hp) with 290 N⋅m (214 lbf⋅ft) of torque between 2,000 and 4,000 rpm. The PHEV version is powered by a 1.5-litre turbo engine and 3-speed DHT transmission producing a maximum power of 240 kW (326 PS; 322 hp) and a maximum torque of 565 N⋅m (417 lbf⋅ft). Pure electric cruising range of 100 km (62 mi) and fuel consumption of 1 L/100 km Since the beginning of research and development, DASHING has paid special attention to co-creation with the customer. From product design to configuration, customer feedback and validation play an important role. In this event, Jetour engages its customers directly through a naming event, inviting them to join the action. A true "born for customers" app. The inclusion of DASHING, a new member bearing the customer name, will help Jetour further develop its overseas product plan while also giving it promotional vigor.Once inside, you are greeted by a well-designed and inviting cabin. The interior features high-quality materials, soft-touch surfaces and attention to detail, creating a premium feel reminiscent of the EVs (electric vehicles) we drove earlier this year. Light-coloured futuristic seats offer a good balance of support and comfort. The second row offers enough legroom even for my 1.70m height, and good headroom with the panoramic sunroof. The interior of Jetour Dashing features a 15.6-inch central control screen and is equipped with the third-generation Snapdragon high-performance chip. The infotainment system supports AutoNavi, Tencent and Baidu Maps. Dasheng's cabin also features an 8-inch LCD display, HUD head-up display, flat-bottom steering wheel design, voice recognition system, wireless charging pad in the center console, and Level2+ driving assistance functions with cruise control and lane changing. . Jetour Dasheng also features a negative ion fresh air system that passes through a CN95 high-efficiency filter element to create a PM2.5 level inside the vehicle. Dashing is equipped with a user-friendly and feature-rich infotainment system centered around a responsive touchscreen. Since Dashing has no physical control buttons, it basically acts as a control center for various functions. The interface is intuitive, with logically arranged menus and clear graphics. The vehicle also uses the voice command function, which has become a common trend in Chinese-made cars, and a button for the voice command function is used on the rear doors. I think the pond lights in the shape of the Jetour logo at night are a nice touch. The dashboard and doors are also covered in ambient lighting that can be controlled according to preferred colors and synchronized to the rhythm of your in-car tunes. The steering wheel is also quite futuristic as it uses cursor/old mouse style buttons. The left side controls what's being adjusted on your screen, while the right side controls the volume. Even though this part of the infotainment system is the ADAS' screen, I find it quite bulky. It also doesn't come with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Instead, you get the Carbit app to mirror your phone to the infotainment system. It's not great, but it works. The Dashing version in other markets also offers wireless charging.
