Ive seen so many of these videos and i swear that wind screen seems to be the biggest issue i see. I know other companies put wipers on but i rarely see people with them and are always stuck half stand sitting to try to see over the screen.i gotta imagine theres a better way to build it. I think the ticket would be some sort of a jeep style window especially for the middle, have it hinge outward and removable and storable in the engine compartment or even under the front of the boat. Id def go with full screen vs the speedboat style but i gotta imagine theres a better way. Thats the only thing id change and have winch spots, front and rear with the ability to quick mount a winch in the front/back. I see people plugging up their jet drives and it takes a bunch of people to get the boat on its side, id imagine a winch would make light work of getting it on its side if you needed to work on it. Amazing area though, incredibly beautiful, and nice boat!

Awesome build thank you!! What did you use for the engine bay sound deadening?
@dimesdailymetalcraftddmc8461

Thanks man. For the sound deadening I used this egg Carton shaped foam from Amazon. It made a big difference it comes in a vacuum sealed pack so you have to submerge it in water and ply with it for a bit then it will take its original shape after you ring it out. And I used 3m double sided tape and it’s not going anywhere. www.amazon.ca/gp/aw/d/B0957CPDCG?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_image

I would like to know how fast they cruise
@jlo7770

It depends 40-50mph is average. Different hulls go faster, how much weight you have on the boat.. the motor/jet you use, if your hull has damage, if you use uhm or not. Theres a lot that factors into these boats top speed. I would say 40-55mph would be the loaded top speed and "empty" top speed for a jet boat with those 300hp supercharged motors/jet drives. Def not a slouch by any means and plenty of power to get up some incredibly fast moving rivers.

What motor did you end up going with? looking at building one here in Northern Alberta and dont know if that new 325 rotax is worth the price tag vs the 300

@@worchest2039Jetstream has some videos of them putting the 325 in and the differences between the motors and what you have to do to get them in. If/when I build one id def go with a Honda 4cyl.. k20/k24 motors are plentiful and can be modded to the moon and back. I don't think it's unrealistic to get 300-400hp out of the motor and have it be extremely reliable, everything about them is easily obtainable(info/parts). Not being a master mechanic but able to follow directions id trust a Honda motor over a Rotax just because there's unlimited information and parts, and the sky is the limit as far as power goes. I know there's 1 company that's doing k series in these types of boats I cant remember if it's Jetstream or a different hull but they definitely fit and there's parts for cooling system so it's not closed loop cooling,, water cooled manifolds and what not so it's not all crazy handmade fabrication
