+Welfm Shop Glad you enjoyed the jewelry photography video. I'm not sure what you want to accomplish when you say you want "tips on how to make jewelry video reviews". Finally, a way to photograph jewellery without spending a fortune AND seems easy too. I just have one question for you, did you have to cut a small hole in the bottom side of the base to get the led light to fit in the middle? It looks like you did but I'm assuming you only have to do that if the light will not fit underneath without having to lay it on its side. Thank you for sharing a great and easy way to photograph jewelry 🤗
@OnlineJewelryAcademy

Hi Tammy, The only hole cut was cut into the base of the waste paper basket (or bleach bottle). The styrofoam plate was given legs in order to lift it high enough for the LED lamp to fit under it. Glad you liked the video. Thanks for your support! : )

Interesting video. I need a better method to capture antique buttons which are 3D. Was using an old CCD scanner, (camera-like), but the new CIS scanner technology is entirely flat. The only available scanners with CCD are $$$'s models. On your Samsung, what is the editing app you're using? I don't think my Galaxy III has this built in. It's time to replace this phone soon, and after seeing this video, that new models will perform as replacement camera/scanner is a plus. I was considering the Note as the newest eliminate the SD card = less storage. Since you're using smart phone As Camera, any thoughts guidance on the available phone-cam models, and photo storage?
@OnlineJewelryAcademy
9 жыл бұрын
+r's mom I am not an expert in cell phones, so I can't really give you much guidance on purchasing one, other than mentioning that the one I was using is a Samsung Note 3, which I love. In comparing the Note 3 to the Note 4, I don't see any major advantage for me to upgrade. The editing program I was using is called Photo Editor Pro by Zentertain. It is free from Google Play Store and very easy to use. There are other programs that probably work as well, but that is just the one I chose, and since it worked well, I didn't investigate further. Best of luck with your project.
@btnbtnful
9 жыл бұрын
+OnlineJewelryAcademy Thanks for your quick response and surprisingly the Note 3, not the 4 was recommended for its slightly better quality/stability, and ?? there was another reason I don't recall on the spot here. Perhaps storage, which was why I was not looking at the most current models, minus the card. Lighting for these small 3D objects has been an onlgoing huge issue. Thanks for assembling a extremely modest cost, quick, do-able solution.
@OnlineJewelryAcademy
9 жыл бұрын
+r's mom In my case, I already own the Note 3 and when the Note 4 came out, I didn't find the upgraded features to be substantial enough for me to spend the money to upgrade. The big thing I don't like about the Note 4 is the lack of an external memory card. Otherwise, it is overall a slightly better phone than the one I own. Thanks for watching our videos.

Hello, such a creative technique. I make makeup bags and want to sell them online. Can you tell me if this technique would work as far as lighting, will it make my product look washed out? Also, I think the bleach container would be too small, so do know of any other "cheap" item I could use...Thanks so much.
