Hello Sir, very informative videos! I was in Chennai for 5 months due to my job and being a history lover I find your channel very interesting giving great insights into the history of Madras aka Chennai city and surrounding, will surely try to visit other places which you mentioned in your videos when I get a chance again to come to Tamil Nadu. I watched the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Kalikammbal Temple video first as me being a Maharashtrian found it really great to visit that temple. Keep the great work going!

Hello Sir, I have heard in Dr Anand Ranganathan's video, that Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj reinstated one temple in Tiruvannamalai, can you please elaborate on the same. Or better, can you make a video on that?

My father, grandfather, great grandfather & their joint families lived in Kennedy Street, Mylapore. Our relatives are still around 😊😊

We stay in the corner house abutting the street nameboard from the early 20th century, from around 1910.

Really interesting story and even interesting narration. I can understand that hours would have spent in researching for this 5 min video. Wonder wheather those curd sellers are still around there!...

There were also toddy tappers who went with kaavadies carrying toddy as mylapore was filled with palm trees and this as late as 1930's. Maybe another community story
