In this episode of The Tribal Kitchen, we take you to Takra Pahaan village in Khunti district of Jharkhand. We show you how to cook country chicken (देसी मुर्गा), and a special saag called Phutkal (फुटकल). Phutkal saag is made from the dried leaves of a medicinal tree. The tree is known as Pakdu tree in the state of Jharkhand have medicinal value. It's leaves are used as tummy regulator. And, when you watch the episode, you realise that interesting conversations only add to the flavour.
