@@patrickng3044 I don’t think so. I doubt he even read the federalist and anti-federalist papers. He doesn’t even support the second amendment, how can you say he knows a lot?
Seriously? On the one hand, you are showering the Foundation heads with praise, calling them remarkably bright, on the other, you’re telling the audience Project 2025 can just be taken with a pinch of salt, as if the Foundation were just one of the many think tanks with ambitious members keen to get a position in the Trump administration. In the current political context, especially with the conversion of the Supreme Court into GOP’s political weapon, public concern about the weakening of checks and balances is by all means justified. And when the pathological liar says he’s got nothing to do with the Conservative agenda, like the way he says he played no part in the 2021 riot, you just take his word for it. Maybe that’s making you qualified as a spin doctor for the demagogue. Very disappointing to see this channel supposedly providing intellectual content turning into a strictly right-wing mouthpiece.

It's difficult for HK diaspora to understand religious fundamentalism and zealotry in America. By his own admission, the host is a pocketbook voter (during the recent UK election discussion); it's of a piece with the whole "international waters" mentality. They don't get that evangelicals are pretty hardcore about big government to come in and enforce "biblical" ideas while mixing in certain nationalist ideas; the UK doesn't really have an equivalent as the population is more secular. One of Project 2025's idea is literally something that already happened in HK: the removal of nonpartisan civil servants for loyalists to the regime; it stirred outrage when it happened in HK among HK opinion elites but apparently it doesn't resonate for the host when it's proposed in the US,

@@TheDjerkovic Project 2025 has been around for quite some time but in the vid, he admits that he hasn't read the thing at all. That's why he only talks about the history instead of discussing the current version and comparing its ideas against the establishment to Trump's alt-right ideas against the "deep state". Ironically, Dr Fung and Pr Shen belong to the political elite class in HK and talked about how the civil service should stay politically neutral in HK. Now, he's supporting an alt-right anti-elite president. Worse still, the comments are like zombies repeating the same rubbish praising his "profound historical knowledge". I wonder if they say this kind of content just to please their HK Trump-fanboy audience who have no understanding of the big picture when it comes to any policies other than economic number crunching.

I doubt if someone like Donald Trump will go into such a detail; his agenda is rather a direction at most. I foresee the right fundamentalists / extremists will be disappointed by him😊
