Yes, RIP Origa. She was absolutely amazing, her voice resounds through this, and Solid State Society. I just wish they had not went on Hiatus for the most part, with the reboot series being underwhelming at least, the one before the current iteration. We were robbed of her being involved with Yoko Kanno again later.

Siempre la recuerdo con sus majestuosas interpretaciónes Origa quedó inmortalizada en estas obras de arte. Por ella me enamore más del trabajo de Yoko y de seguir escuchando más composiciones e interpretaciónes de la mágica Origa!
Cowboy Bebop introduced me to her wonderful music, and of course the Seatbelts. I was lucky enough to find and buy every music CD I could find from Cowboy Bebop, and then from Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex. She is a Goddess!

I loved the music in Cowboy Bebop without really knowing of her until I got into Ghost in the Shell S.A.C. and the music in it finding out she did both. Always amazing with a lot of variation and range.

I don't know what the hell I feel when I listen to her compositions. I'm sad, happy, nostalgic, accompanied with the occasional tight chest, stomach tingles, and misty eyes. I'm not sure it's healthy but I love it all the same. She makes legit art that grabs the soul and coddles it, but squeezes a bit too when it needs to. I hope she knows how positively she impacted the world through her art ❤❤❤

Kanno's music for me is just perfect in the shows I've watched. She captures the mood, feeling and brings the scenes to life more. I cannot imagine Cowboy Bebop, Wolf's Rain, Escaflowne and GITS SAC and SAC2 having any other music by any other composer. She just has the touch and the ear to make it all work.

Just so everyone has clarity, yoko Kanno is the composer and driving force behind alot of this, and these tracks are performed by various musicians (over 30 musicians, plus featuring vocalists etc. ) she curated slowly into a group known as the seatbelts, across continents, these sessions are truly gems of our generation and this deserves a re-release

Just wanted to add another note of thanks for the many years of wonderful music. I've been a fan since Escaflowne, and have loved everything since. Your ability to create music that touches feelings in so many different styles is truly amazing.
I listened to this in tears - mainly because I'm grieving for a childhood where my youngest cousin and I listened to all these tunes, and now he's no longer with us after losing his battle w/ brain cancer in 2020. The tunes were sentimental then, now they bring back bittersweet memories and a beautiful but deep grief. Thank you for the music, Kanno-sensei.

The only artist I've ever sent a fan message to. Her music has been the soundtrack for my life. She has made my life better, more intense, more epic. Not just as a soundtrack, but as inspiration, always to be a little more heroic, a little more awesome. I imagine, but I don't dare hope, that there are others similarly inspired. I've done a lot, accomplished a lot, with support from her talent. I don't think my psyche could tolerate being acknowledged by her, but I consider myself deeply fortunate to have been formed by her work, to have grown up along with it, and to have been contemporary to her work. I do not desire to live in any world that she is not in.
Omg take me back! So many beautiful memories in these songs. Yoko is a gift we don't deserve but I'm so glad we got her.

Kanno Yoko and Kajiura Yuki - two of today's most talented, famous and versatile (especially Kanno Yoko who used almost every music genre in her music and soundtracks) female japanese music producers. Tip: "Fiction 1" from Kajiura Yuki. I love that album!
