My own NDEs at 4 and 19 were relatively brief and not nearly as detailed as your experience. However, subsequent to the second one, I had a spontaneous OBE that seemed to last for hours, but that only lasted a couple of minutes: this is the experience that helps me understand what you were shown. The notion of a God who loves us all equally, eternally, immensely and without exception was the biggest - and most ineffable - takeaway. Bless you, Jim. Looking forward to seeing the rest of your videos. Paz y luz. ✨

Hi Teresa, some of the suffering we choose by our attachments and the choices we make. Some of it is just part of the process, but when that's the case, we might see it not as suffering as simply adjustment. I know it is painful to have a baby but maybe we won't call that suffering. Maybe it's the same for a caterpillar in metamorphosis to a butterfly. Maybe it's when a child has to start helping around the home instead of playing all the time. Evolution is certainly about pushing us continually out of our comfort zones, and eventually, we must become comfortable with "the only constant is change". Then it isn't suffering at all. Thank you so much for your response to the video.

Seems like a microcosm of the accident. Gears in the sky, gears in the engine of a plane. Burnt out city, burnt out a crash site. Even a mention of the accident which triggered the NDE, which is very rare . All I can say is that I believe everything we experience is real in that it has to be external and apart from us since we cannot experience the essence of our own experience. Perhaps a miniature scale of yourself (soul) stayed at the crash site.

poppykok5 i’m starting to believe that the other side is not so much an other side, that the afterlife is integrated into our daily experience. I think the problem is that just because we are consciously ignorant of the other side doesn’t mean that the other side is just as ignorant as of us. Perhaps we are already living in their world but have become blind due to the lack of proper meaning. Perhaps there’s a certain way to process experience to unlock the key

Hi Debra - I can totally see how someone would think that. Many near-death experiencers wonder this in the beginning too. But along with the deep transformational changes that come with the NDE, the outer occurrences of after-effects, such as electronic anomalies (blown light bulbs, phones, and computers) are undeniable. For me, not only these usual things but my entire airconditioning system in my home and the same time my microwave, not to mention the electronic cash registers of 5 stores 5 days in a row when I went to the counter to pay for things. It's been a wild ride.

Hi Jim I had to revisit your NDE because I have a question for you? I recently came across a conversation that Jeffrey Mishlove had with a guest where they were conversing about evil and the guest mentioned the movie A Clockwork Orange. Admittedly I've heard about the movie yet knew nothing about it's themes. When I looked it up, I found certain similarities between it and your NDE. Both your experience and the movie have the imagery of the clock with it's gears and deals with the issue of free will and feeling nauseous, when after a psychological procedure, the main character is struck with nausea at the idea of committing a crime or indulging in an immoral act. I wonder if you'd find some insight about your own experience by comparing it to this movie's themes?

I have heard hundreds of nde’s. Not one was anything like this. Not saying it didn’t happen but why is this so different? Seems more dream like to me.
@geonav1
3 жыл бұрын
Hi Richard, granted - it isn't your usual NDE. That is probably why it took me so long to realize it was - if it had included a tunnel, dead loved ones and all the usual hallmarks of what we generally know about an NDE, I would have settled right in. But this was different. I'd say seeing the gears of event in my future was like a more actionable-intelligence model of a life review - one in which I could stack the deck and fix the future before it was too late to do so. I also think there are levels to the other side, each corresponding to deeper foundations that all together create the universe below them. Finally, here, we see life through the filters we want. There, we see life through the filters we need. I guess that is what I needed and in the imagery provided.

Hi Jim, I really enjoy listening to your NDE and all of the spiritual insights it continues to impart every time I hear it. I just have a few question for you if you don't mind? You said that before your NDE you were somewhat spiritual and more in tune with Eastern spiritual practices. What do you make of the part of your NDE when the disembodied voice you believe was God, tells you that, to paraphrase, salvation can't be earned and is only given through grace. Doesn't this give you pause to consider that Christianity might actually be God's truth? Also I was wondering about your electromagnetic after effects. I have always been very fascinated by the Shroud of Turin being the authentic burial cloth of Jesus and the best scientific theory to date seems to be that some sort of electromagnetic burst of energy caused the image transfer from the body to the cloth. Do you believe there is a correlation between the spiritual realm/heaven and a physical enhancement of electromagnetic energy that occurs after such spiritual experiences?
@geonav1
3 жыл бұрын
Hi Linda. Thank you for your thoughtful and welcome questions. NDEs typically help experiencers turn the corner from thinking “or” and thinking “and”. There’s nothing like a trip to the other side to fully realize the truth of how we are all one people and children of God. God made man and man made religion. It has been said that religion is the tip of the finger and spirituality is the moon to which the finger points. Though most if not all religions preach peace over war, unity over division, it looks like neither they or governments with legislation have been able to make people behave accordingly. This is because if it doesn’t start at home, it won’t start anywhere. And if people don’t find a temple in their hearts, they will never find their hearts in any temple. Similarly, I don’t think any earthly institution has the corner on God or His Grace. Though our destinies may be written on our palms or in the stars, on no palm and in no star’s journey through the heavens is written God’s Grace. It is is given when He wills it. But it there for our asking, if we ask for it and choose to live our lives accordingly, putting Him first before all others. Sadly, that choice is its most sincere when we’re getting beat up by the world. But once made, we no longer need to worry about anything as we less and less think about what we want and we given what we need. I understand that when we act as a conduit for the spiritual side of things, the flow to this side can express itself in many ways from electronic anomalies to psychic and spiritual experiences and wisdom. Like Grace, it seems to know what to do and how to do it.
@lindal.7242

@@geonav1 Thank you for kindly responding to my questions. I agree with much of what you've stated about grace being extended to us by God according to His own will. I haven't had an NDE but have had plenty of spiritually transformative experiences and because of them, know that God really does meet us where we are. I agree that heaven has no religion, but I'm still puzzled by the words spoken to you about salvation, as Christianity is the only religion or doctrine that espouses this notion. Still, I have a feeling that God is kind and rewards our efforts to be close to Him and His will no matter what, and I'm fairly certain that you are meant to share the wisdom of your experience. You were well chosen by God to undertake such a task, well done and God bless you.

Hi Ryan - that is an incredibly valid question and I pondered it myself. The best I can guess is this. We live life here through the filters of our limited sense, with those added by hopes, fears, ego, anger, etc. Put all together, it's like they form the picture that is projected onto the screen of our mind. Which means we're seeing the world through that projection and as we're all individuals, that's why it's difficult to get 2 people to agree on what they saw during times of high stress, much less something as mundane as a friendship or marriage. In any case, for me, it's as if the words from the In Between by passed all the sense and mental filtering and just appeared directly on the screen, becoming part of "me" right then and there. That's my best shot!

Jesus Christ is Lord God Almighty clothed in unfallen humanity. He is the author of eternal life to all who believe on Christ alone for salvation. That is Everlasting life, not to be confused with temporary or probationary life dependent upon your performance. Jesus paid for all the sins of all the world at the cross (past, present, and future). That payment is put to your account when you have believed on Christ alone for salvation. When you have believed on Christ alone for salvation then you have repented unto life! To have Everlasting life you must admit that you are a hopelessly lost sinner and turn from whatever you trusted in before and trust Jesus Christ as your only hope of getting to Heaven. Salvation is a free gift Recieved solely by trusting in the person and finished work of Christ alone, and is certainly not conditional upon service. Service (discipleship) if you choose it can cost you everything if you go all out in serving God. Our good works, repenting of sins, and obedience, are solely for rewards in Heaven or a lack thereof and have absolutely nothing to do with salvation at all. Salvation is absolutely free. Rewards are worked for! Now, get out there and serve God faithfully out of love and gratitude for the free gift of salvation.

It's part of God's plan that we do need each other, that we need to work through our differences, and that at the end of the day, we see God shining through all those differences as the One Light, the Light in every one of our hearts, the Light of All.
