Honestly I don't know why this series doesn't have high views. There's some very insightful information here. Loved this 3-part interview!

What are some cool dci openers that I could learn, other than Phantom Regiment 2008 opener (I already learned that). Thanks in advance!

Are you just wanting to learn them for fun or for a certain purpose? The other thing is tracking down music for them. I know SnareScience.com had a huge library but I’m not sure if it still exists.

Dude, this series is killer. As a guy who got into the marching scene in the mid-late 90's, and started teaching and writing in the early 2000's, Jim and his lines were a huge influence on me. He's such a good sport too... I was mega-geeked to meet him at WGI in 2005 and he graciously signed my copy of Up Front (so did Ancona) and took the time to chat with me even though I was just some random college kid. If you ever get a chance, I'm sure I speak for a lot of people when I say I'd love to see an interview with one or both Rennicks! Or maybe Bachman, I think he's in the Dallas area these days too. Peace!

Yeah man, that story about Jim is not surprising at all! Just super nice and down to earth for sure! Thank you for watching and your support! I’ll see what I can do regarding some of those interview requests!

I don’t know how often you get the opportunity to interview marching percussion icons but I think creates a window into their world. if you get the opportunity to meet him even if it’s just for five minutes, drew guy. He was the bluecoats section leader for like 5 years. He’s insanely good but I’ve never really seen any interviews or anything. I feel like if anyone will get an interview with him it’s you. I’m always looking foreword to your videos, keep up the good work. :))
