Nonstop kickouts to finishers is one of the things that killed wrestling for me. I can believe that someone kicks out of a finisher once, but after that it just gets boring. It used to be a big deal to kick out of a finisher, but now it happens so often it is meaningless and when someone doesn't kick out it feels odd.
@zeromagnum2811
10 ай бұрын
when done properly a wrestler only kicked out of a finisher at some ppvs. A few times they would kick out of more than 1 at a wrestlemania. But 3 finisher would end it. Then there were matches like Brock and Roman a few years back that were finisher spam matches that went to the level of ridiculous. But most matches in aew are like that. Everyone kicks out of everything in AEW. WWE still sometimes books too many kick outs or over booked spots but are no longer as bad for it as AEW is

Roman doesn't deserve a 5 star match just like the AEW matches haven't. He is only a star due to the title and story but take those away and his is back to "big dog" Roman pushing viewers away with half filled arena.

This PPV was at least 2 1/2 stars and the worst match was the main event due to overbooking and non believable injuries.

I knew aew was doomed when Shawn spears bragged about creative freedom and getting opportunities. And then all in happened and he was eliminated by a man with no legs in an over the top rope battle royal. My wife said turn that shit off.

It doesn't seem they would have to try for star ratings. As long as the performers welcome Dave and Brian into their group, it will all be taken care of.

What cokeboy khan is doing to aew is so much worse than what herb abrams did to the UWF back in the early 90s. Only difference is herb hired real men who actually wrestled and did their best to hold him accountable. Aew wrestlers are so trash that theyll ride out their contracts and then have to work in CZW Aew wrestlers also dont have the balls to speak up to khan about how hes messing up, akin to wcw circa 2001
