Love your videos! I used to work for Warner Publishers Services from '88-'91 and would get all types of free comics and got to visit the archives library a few times and actually read through original copies of many 1940's books. Your series has introduced me to aspects of comics history I previously never paid attention to. I also want to mention, I never noticed nor thought of it before, but Starlin's Death also bares a very strong resemblance to the later Filmation's She Ra: Princess of Power character, Shadow Weaver.

He did do alot of good things in comics, not everything was but man he really does deserve his due for entertaining us all. Other writers and artists too, some good some not yet Jim wasn't half bad.

Really enjoying the channel! Small correction at 9:24, it wasn't "Ambush Bug" that sacrificed himself in Cosmic Odyssey, it was "Forager" whom Orion refers to as "Bug"

Pip wasn't killed by Thanos. He destroyed Pip's mind and left him standing there for Adam to find. Adam zaps Pip with the soul gem taking Pip's soul and leaving his body lying with the death stare. More gruesome, but more tragic since Adam was forced to end Pip. Maybe later printings were edited.

That is NOT Ambush Bug. It's the New Gods character Forager. Orion calls him a"bug" as a dismissive.

In a way, isn't killing off a whole swath of related characters (such as the DC Kirbyverse New Gods) just "pissing in the punchbowl"?
