Thank you for this fitting form of a tribute to the late, great Jimmy Buffett. The song, "Brown Eyed Girl", like most of his songs, really has a Caribbean sound to it, and musically, with the help of a young Jimmy Buffett and an outstanding band and backing vocals, especially on the chorus, transported the listener and viewer to an island in the Caribbean Sea for the length of the song. He entertained so many from 1970 to just recently. He is possibly serenading in Paradise adding more of his paradisical flair to an already heavenly place. His musical legacy on Earth has been well-preserved and, since radio and television signals transmit into space, his musical works have been already beyond Earth since his first radio and television appearances. The pure joy on the faces of some of the band members and Jimmy himself show that this must have been a fun song to do on that episode. It is unfortunate that Marilyn McCoo was not host that episode to feel the joy that is similar to the musical joy that she provided during her time with the series. Jimmy Buffett presented a smorgasbord of sounds and imagery through his music and inspired many others through his long career in the music industry.
