He lives right near me, in a very old house with little tiny hobbit like windows and all the bricks are quarter size. A Great wooden door sits right on the hill front, metal studded. It must be at least 300 years old. I think he has lived there for at least 35 years.. It's the most mysterious house I've ever seen... Great to see him do this.. Wonderful! And you treacle, are a work of art also... All the best..

Jimmy is well advanced in years now, and it's hard for us super Zeppelin fan's knowing that he's not going to be around forever, of course we will always have their music. It's really been a gift to us fan's who were to young to see Zeppelin, but have been just as big a fan as those who did see them live. That being said as much as I love watching Zeppelin bootleg recording's, I love seeing interviews of them giving us a glimpse into how they created this music. There is a great interview with the 3 surviving members back in 2012 on the late show with David Letterman. Great interview with some hilarious interaction between John Paul Jones, and David Letterman.

What a turn around Becks... I remember when you did your original reaction to Stairway and you weren't that impressed - even with the guitar solo.... then you listened to it again and became a convert (we all forgave you of course!). The next time was the Kennedy Centre and the Heart cover and your reaction to the fact that you were about to hear stairway was epic (fist pumping and resting your head on your arm to listen in comfort!) Now we have this one and hey, look who's singing along with all the words as well as some more wonderful reactions. You also picked up on the fact that not only were LZ better musically and compositionally than everyone else back in the day, they now explain how they came up with the ideas for their songs better than anyone else too! They were a world-class act, you are fast becoming the same, leaving other reactors behind you. Well done girl - keep it up! xx

To this day, consistently voted the number rock song of all time. Page the top session guitarist in the UK recruited John Paul, who also was a multi talented studio musician to form a band. They heard echos of this powerful young singer blowing up EU. Page flew to Germany and after watching him perform, asked he was willing to join the band, plant said only with my drummer, J Bottom. The rest is history. ...something like that. Do you know who has the most number one albums in the UK.? Robbie Williams (I believe every album he recorded went to the top of the UK charts, I think I'm right on this). THANKS FOR SHARING.!
@helenespaulding7562
2 жыл бұрын
I’m afraid you’ve got allot wrong here. Best not to speculate if you haven’t research it a bit. Plant was not blowing up the EU. He was struggling along in the pub scene around the Midlands of England barely scraping by. Plant and Grant drove up to where he was playing…a small local gig. Page invited Plant down to London to see if they got along. Plant did suggest Bonham, who was working with Tim Rose at the time, NOT with Robert. And there was never any question of Robert turning down working with Page if Bonham wasn’t also hired. Robert lept at the chance to join Page…he was out of money and his wife had given him an ultimatum to make it in music by his birthday August 20th. Luckily, he made it with barely a month to spare 😁

Yes, he was humble and eloquent, but unlike some who find celebrity in other fields and don't feel they can speak openly and honestly about their careers, Jimmy clearly acknowledged the inspiration that was running rampant in the production of this album, and showed great pride in their accomplishment. I also sensed just a touch of sadness - as if he would like to do it again - make some more masterpieces for the ages. Too much talent and inspiration to be able to fulfill in just one lifetime.

David Bowie, for one, anything from the earlier albums but especially from the Ziggy Stardust live film; he had a charisma live that you won't believe! Next is Yes, I personally think The Yes Album, Fragile, and Close To The Edge were their best lineups. Last, Heart, most notably the Dreamboat Annie album (their debut), then various selections from the other albums in the 70's. Hope you enjoy these, even if you don't react (or get blocked).

Yeah while everybody's going crazy about their great songwriting skills if you listen to the live version of Spirits song Taurus you can tell its the same intro they lifted it almost to the note. Plant saw Spirit play the song in Birmingham in 1970. Zeppelin won the lawsuit but only because you couldn't sue over the live version which was never on any album but only the studio version that had a different intro. If you think this is odd you must realize Zeppelin has lost 7 lawsuits filed for old black rockers who they blatantly ripped off They also took writing credits for Dazed and Confused a song written by Jake Holmes in 1967 . They released Boogie with Stu on their Physical Graffitti album which was actually already titled Ooh my Head and sung by Richie Valens who was long dead. If you don't believe me believe Jimmy Page "As far as my end of it goes (plagiarizing) I always tried to bring something fresh to anything I used. Robert was supposed to change the lyrics, and he didn't always do that which brought on most of the grief. That's Page admitting they ripped people off.

She's her own hair stylist. She may have a stylist do some color and cut, but you can tell the overall ideas are 100% her own. So creative with it. It's fun witnessing her advancements over the years. At one time she kinda tried to emulate some of the style of others, now she has advanced to full on originality. Her hair is never exactly the same in any video unless she shoots them all the same day. Part of her art is her hair, fashion and makeup for every reaction she does. This is all planned and takes extra effort, but adds to each performance she does. And yes, each of her reaction videos is a performance. No one in the game does it better from that perspective.

Rebeka, you know the only beautiful part of this song, the beginning part, was stolen by Page, don't you ? Page has never written quality melody in his life, he can't, he is not gifted enough, so what did he do here ? He stole, he plagiarized. He constantly stole, this has been well documented. Further, this song, Stairway To Heaven, has no depth at all. It is in truth pretentious and shallow, it preys on the impressionable. The lyrics are meaningless but sound deep and meaningful. 'bustle in the hedgerow' etc. This song is pseudo-mystical, created by men with no mystical gift, but a talent for theatrics, atmospherics. If you study the lyrics of Led Zeppelin, you find they are cheap and immoral. If you study the private life of Page, you discover he was heavily into satanism. He looked up to and bought the house of a famous satanist. David Bowie had his house exorcised twice following a Page visit one evening because Page's energy was so dark. Page had filled his house with darkness. Led Zeppelin are a superficial outfit. They do everything they can to impress, they are good at it, like a good salesman who works people, but they have nothing to offer of true quality, true depth or true spirituality.
