Draves They’re still a good band (not my cup of tea, but still good). I have no problem with a band wanting to make more money. ujustdiealready if you play a instrument especially guitar and really want to take your playing to a completely new level that is super different and mind blowing just try one of the songs from the stage that’s how I really got into it because of the immense skill he has to play even 15 seconds of a song is really impressive. But now if you don’t care about the playing and only about the old stuff then I completely understand why it’s hard to listen to. But if you really care about music I suggest picking up guitar and trying any a7x song even so far away a slow place song is difficult. Now if you are wanting to drumming anything after waking the fallen and before welcome to the family is impossible for just about anyone.

My point is, I'm almost always around musicians. The only time I really ever see anyone throw headphones on is in the studio. And even in the studio it's not common. I own 2 Roland electric kits and don't use headphones. My drummer sometimes practices on his Roland kit and also plugs into a monitor. I've never met or seen a drummer wear headphones unless they're in the studio recording and need to hear playback or a click. In ear monitors are what 99 percent of drummers use if they want a click. So maybe you do wear headphones while you're playing in your bedroom. I'm just telling you that you're an exception and it's definitely not a normal thing. Any serious drummer will attest to that.

I swear Rev had a metronome built in his mind. Perfect timing, one take, walk out like you still have to take the kids to school. Such a genius. Edit: I love the epic drum masters replying to this comment. *Pushes up glasses and snorts* "Well actually, he was 1/32nd off at 1:65." Bro, you're a douche.

I had a chance to see them, Disturbed, Breaking Benjamin, Korn, Sevendust, and Shinedown in Atlanta when I was a senior in high school (literally all of my favorite rock bands at the time). Me, like an idiot, was honest with my mom and asked her if I could go to the concert; the adult going with us was a 23 y/o uncle of my buddy. She said "NO" and kept me on lockdown that weekend.... the Rev died later that year, now I will never see A7x at their whole....... RIP one of the greatest drummers alive!

Last week, I don't know why in the studio I work at, a guy and myself started talking about A7x and how this was the song that got us both into the band, and ever since, I came back to listening to their music and remembering so many things from when I was in high school and they were one of the bands that got me through it. As it turns out, I had a mild obsession with the Rev back then, and I just remembered everything! I've been kinda depressed lately and it saddens me even more to think about the fact that he's been long gone... for some reason the obsession came back and I swear to God I fell in love with this man once again (if not even more) and his fucking huge talent! He was such a musical genius and he had one of the most beautiful souls I've ever seen from afar. He seemed so kind and funny and it is such a huge shame that he passed, it is actually so painful to think about it. May he rest in peace and live on foREVer in our hearts!!! 🖤
