Lon, thank you. I'll refer my friends and family to look over this video. You have addressed all concerns and provided proper solutions to both use another service as well as stay with Zoom with increased security if your organization has already invested in it as the go-to solution and you are not the decision-maker in the company.

Jitsi utilizes some browser features which are currently not well supported in Firefox. If a Firefox user joins your conference it can greatly impact the number of users the conference can support and the reliability of the connection for all users and not just the Firefox user.

As usual very clear and precise presentation. I went to try Jitsi but found it has issues with the cameras. I was not the only one with the problem but many others are experiencing it also. Be great if this issue could be resolved.

been using jitsi for ages - its terrific, but there is a limitation in that jitsi meet lets everyone have admin rights, rather than what you would expect, the person starting the room only has them. Fine if you have complete control of participents. You can get around that by having your own sever, but that starts to cost money

I had discovered Jitsi a little over a month ago before all of this covid stuff went down. I had been looking for an alternative to zoom and also an alternative to Skype for business. I work on a University campus in Canada as part of the IT department in the audio visual. The head of the IT department is a very skilled online security expert who has worked for large financial institutions as a Cyber security tech. She had issues with Zoom so I went looking for an alternatives.

Put a price I had a few clients over the last half decade that chose to go the Zoom route because they didn't want to have to pay the licensing required for WebEx. The experience was always a bit subpar in my opinion when it comes to Zoom. Then of course now you keep on top of it all this garbage from the security perspective and I just can't understand why people right now would bother to risk using it.

Nice. Thank you. You did Jitsi and Google Meet, how about Cisco Webex as there is more and more interest out there for alternatives. Cisco's Webex is well known in the large enterprise space, used by corporations, banks, and government, but many consumers and small businesses don't think of Webex or even know Cisco has been offering a free version of Webex now to help them thought this pandemic, and there is no 40 minute limit either! Use it as much as you like. There's not a better deal or more secure solution out there, and it is easy to use and get started.

I wish you wouldn't claim Zoom security issues and then 1st thing show that Jitsi has the same "issue". The issue is a client decision making issue.. if you did the same process that people did with Zoom like sharing the full meeting URL that included the ID you'd have the same issue. Someone was not guessing Zoom ID's, they were finding the link in public forums. If you decided to leave your door unlocked and broadcast the door was open, would you claim that Yale or Schlage left you unsecure??
@LonSeidman

It's a lot easier to guess Zoom numbers (which is happening) vs. using a much more secure alphanumeric meeting ID.
