My family members are all PNP. But if given the choice to choose I would rather stick to the current administration a change in government now will only lead to economic stagnation. We can think about changing governments later down a few years but the economy is growing. Inflation seems to be a global problem not unique to Jamaica so the dollar sliding can't be prevented however can be countered with a foreign currency account.

The Senate will retain veto of the House 3. Chapter 1, section 6 will remain intact and continue to exempt government leaders from the legal responsibilities that are attached to the classification of "Public Servant" That is why they can be so self serving with impunity 😮 The JLP is making a Toll Road to Republic which leads to a neocolonial police state of privatized beaches and ganglands 🚔🚓🚔 By the way, worker owned and managed cooperative economics is the new socialism. (Look up Professor Richard Wolff) Redistribution of wealth through taxation of the rich is neoliberal welfare, not socialism. It never was. (Stop the stereotype 😡)

@@ewancameron5192The IMF of the past is not the same organization that you are dealing with. Recruiting a non European or American merely confirms that fact. The approach to lending to third world countries has drastically changed and that is evident by how the IMF program in Jamaica was executed which resulted in jamaica has a lower debt payment, no cut in social spending, no increase in taxes, an improvement in jamaica credit rating. Because jamaica was able to execute an economic program where growth of 2.7% is now the norm, 4.5% unemployment is now the norm, where export is up 35% and import is down and where jamaica is now spending 30.cents out of every dollar to pay debt and instead of finding 1.40 cents on every dollar to pay debt. This means we have 0.70 cents out of every dollar to pay salaries and pay for infrastructure development in our country instead of borrowing or begging money. This is a better management of our country affairs and Dr Clarke as finance minister was able to achieve these and more. No other finance Ministers around the world can walk in Dr Clarke shoes. I just read that in Martique there is strikes and demonstration due to economic hardship perhaps Dr Clarke should go and manage that country finances
