I watched jett at pala this weekend and right away I thought of jmb, hoping from side to side determining his own route.. effortless. Bailey was original smooth man.

I loved to hate him back then because Bradshaw was my hero. JMB was probably the smoothest rider I have never seen in person.

He loved to drag the rear brake on the 500.. So much so that it overheated. The mechanics even made a little air scoop to try to keep it cool.

I'd like these guys to describe the differences in techniques between the 250 and 500cc machines.

He was not under rated, 2 world championships and 3 championships in the USA. Smooth as silk and a very unique/effective race craft. He was his own man, and I respect that. 2 things I regret. 1) Him and the competition got hurt, missing races in the 91/92 season, and we missed some good racing. 2) He should have stayed in the USA for more racing and become a citizen. I know what the media has everybody thinking/saying, but the fans admired him greatly in the USA.

He wanted to try his hand at Moto GP, but wasn't good enough at it.

I wish we could have seen a prime McGrath go up against a prime Bayle. My money's going on Jeremy.
