Looked like your best day so far. The Muir Hut, the high ground desolate and lunar in appearance, then descending past beautiful lakes to shady forest. 👌 Hiking doesn't get much better than that. Very nicely shot too Justin. 👍 (PS - Finished off with some Hobbit lines, ha ha)

Great video. You were starting to make it look easy. You've been doing some pretty big miles for up there. They're just all hard miles around 10000 ft. Im glad(ish) to see you having at least a few aches and pains. So gorgeous in that wanda lake area. This is a fun series you put together. What part of the country is base camp for you. I feel like there are redeeming section hikes in your future to see what you missed through the smoke. Such a shame. I've been watching...the fires are still there but winding down pretty quick. Im hoping to get a short trip in just a bit north of this video. Its such a crime to miss the views. I may do one up into november if the smokes still there. Thanks again for sharing. It was in your gear vid that I found you. I don't know if you can focus any future drops on your camp set up and thoughts on the gear choices. Just a thought. Cheers buddy

After I’m done with the JMT videos I want to do a final thoughts video and a few gear review videos. I definitely want to go back and see some of the trail without smoke. It was gorgeous but I can only imagine how much better it is without the smoke! Oh and home base is Arizona.
