How I loved that velvety voice and still have some L.P.s. That lady really could sing unlike others today who only shout and wail and what lyrics repeated ad infinitum on ghetto blasters that send 'em deaf. . Wonderful Jo , Im glad those of younger generations can at last hear you on KZitem and learn what lyrics, melody and singing really are.
Yo vivo en Caracas, Venezuela, agradecido por transmitir esta hermosa melodía de la inolvidable JO ELIZABETH STAFFORD, Gracias, Leopoldo.

Jo Stafford has been my favourite singer for many decades, despite my appreciating almost every genre of music........well, ALMOST every genre. When one listens to this and other tunes such as "I ll be seeing you", it's pretty obvious that this is a very unique singer. I find it very heartening from the comments that people of the current generation seem to share my view, and that Jo is continues to be appreciated across a wide spectrum of age groups.

@@davidg5629 Certainly the best generation, borne of hard times gone through and gratitude for what they had. Best era overall. Humble people, nothing expected for free, studied and worked hard for their future, endured the Depression and WWII which made them resilient and empathetic. Rewarded with the very best of music and dance venues. Love that generation! Whatever can we do to save the current and future generations?
