I was raised in Minnesota in the 80's being a child of private schools and so forth - the nuns as they were would take us to a roller rink on a field trip JUST when this song came out hitting the charts enjoyed and played by the heathen in secret gatherings so forbidden. Imagine if you will, the first song on that rink blaring out over hi-fi stereo was the awesome guitar intro to this song as we were skating with aggressive paces with hands lifted up in praise. The children or so they called us. To those still reading the nuns were like a murder of crows I declare and the DJ was the feed to UTTERLY stop the song to play Amy Grant. We loved it nonetheless while it lasted unto this day.

Madison Thorne yeah but in the song by Joan Jett I distinctly remember “standing there by the record machine” we even had that song in our band. Anyway, it doesn’t matter. Half the people see them and the other half is asleep. Either that or the reality that I came fro is overlapping with yours. It’s such an amazing time to be alive. I think the earth is mad though Psy-Op 101.. corona, Australia fires and we are becoming numb to what’s happening. Anyway, yes with all due respect, this IS. Indeed a Mandela effect. 100%... do you see other Mandela effects or do you not see any at all? Life is like a box of chocolates? Sex in the city? I’m Curious if some people see them and others don’t. Or if you do see some and you’re just remembering this one the way you remember it and you might not be correct? Because if you remember it one way and are certain and all the others too then that means you’re just from another reality than me. Or something like that 𖤐

Per: www.legacy.com {03-303-2020}... Musician Alan Merrill died in New York Sunday due to complications from the coronavirus. He was 69 years old... He Merrill was the co-writer of the hit rock and roll anthem “I Love Rock N’ Roll"*. Merrill was the lead vocalist and bassist for the glam rock band the Arrows in the 1970s. The band had some popularity in England including hosting a weekly television music show. He co-wrote “I Love Rock N’ Roll” with guitarist Jake Hooker. Merrill thought the song would be a big hit for the band but it did not happen. Joan Jett had seen the Arrows perform the song on TV in England while touring with the Runaways and recorded her hit version in 1982. Merril continued to perform after the Arrows broke up and he was a member of singer Meat Loaf’s band in the 1980s... May he R.I.P. * Joan Jett and the Blackhawks' "I Love Rock 'N Roll" entered Billboard's Top 100 on January 31st, 1982 at position #63, six weeks later it would peak at #1 {for 7 weeks} and it spent twenty weeks on the Top 100...
