I don’t know if she was divinely inspired, but this song about her surely is. kzitem.info/news/bejne/yKqtu616iYqDgoY

You mentioned that '' Saint Catherine and Saint Marguerite of Antioch, showed up in her father's garden '' in 1425....now, this is a real problem , ....since, in 1969, both Saints were removed by the Vatican' Roman Catholic Calendar of Saints.... since they never existed, they were part of the Medieval' folklore. The story of Catherine of Alexandria was the story of Hypatia, a Greek woman. Concerning Michael, the Archangel , he became quite popular in the 15th century, mainly because the famous Mount St Michel Abbey, in Normandy, which had resisted to numerous English attacks, and for the general population , it was a sign from God...Michael being the military leader of God ! Secondly, Jehanne la Pucelle was not rejected by Robert de Bandricourt, since her father was the ''prévôt of the entire region, under Robert de Bandricourt. Jehanne' father, Jacque d'Ay, was an important individual. Her mother, Romée Vouthon Ysabeau de Salm , was in Rome and was from a small noble family from the Vosges . The story of the Dauphin, Charles hiding amongst his entourage at Chinon is untrue, it is from the 18th century, to add drama and mystery to the event . Jehanne was accompanied by Yolande d'Anjou. Yolande had taken care of Charles ,since his youth. Yolande had all the authority , not the Dauphin. She is the mastermind behind all the events, the Grey Eminence ! Also, both parties would meet at the gate/ the entrance of the castle, this was the Medieval' way, since Charles was not a king . Once introduced, they would be invited in the large hall. There is even a painting from the 15th century , showing this particular event. Jehanne la Pucelle was sentence to death as an heretic. It was a political move from the Norman Church which was controlled by the English Aristocracy, in trying to annul Charles' coronation at Reims Cathedral, in July 1429, since the Dauphin had received ''help'' , from an evil entity. However, to save his ''Crown'' , Charles introduced the Rehabilitation Trial of 1455/56 , using more than a hundred witnesses, where most of them had never met Jehanne la Pucelle during her lifetime. A cunning political move from Charles VII and he was successful . Jehanne la Pucelle was captured too easily. As mentioned, in your video, she was caught by the Bourguignons. However, they were waiting, hiding behind a small hill with a stronger force, early evening where Jehanne would make a last surveillance, a daily routine. Who advised the Bourguignons, who provided the info for the '' entrapment set-up'' ? Riding as fast as they could, towards Compiègne, as she was ready to enter the main gate bridge at Compiègne, the gate was suddenly closed, some of her Scottish escort/guards in full armor, even drowned as they fell in the water below...being a few meters only, from the main gate of the fortress.... Guillaume de Flavy ordered the gate closed... the famous nephew of Regnault de Chartres, Bishop of Reims, adviser to Charles VII . Jehanne la Pucelle, a brilliant, well educated woman, with determination, endurance and courage, she will be remembered for a very, very long time.

It is thought today that it is highly probable that she suffered from the mental affliction known as "Idiopathic partial epilepsy with auditory features (IPEAF),". "Idiopathic" means that the epilepsy likely has a genetic cause, and "partial" means that the epilepsy affects only one area of the brain, which indeed, causes visions and voices inside the head.

who is the person, today that believes she was suffering from the mental affliction ...'' There were no mental afflictions ! There were no visions or divine conversations ! Katherine of Alexandria and Margaret of Antioch, who were the visions, they were both removed by the Vatican in 1969 ! They never existed. Part of the medieval folklore. This was a political story, a nasty struggle between two royal families for the crown... the Valois and the Lancaster. About 1840 to 1870 it became a ''religious story'' This is why, in 1879, the Roman Catholic church of Paris requested the sainthood application for the Maid of Orléans. Why only in 1879 and not 1431 ? Your answer is there !

@Eric Radcliffe This is actually one of the things that makes me think she was legit. All the prophets in the Bible were likewise persecuted, with many being killed.
