I am going to tell you what I know, not what I heard. JOAN OSBORNE is the best non-Motown vocalist I have ever heard sing MOTOWN. Joan has the soul, tempo, rhythm and emotion of the music. Joan was born to sing MOTOWN.

I kept seeing the tape in truckstops several years ago and one night I thought I'd buy it. Glad I did and so was my wife as we were born in the mid 1950's and this is the music we grew up to. I've collected CDs through the years and I have them on my phone's Micro SD Card. Whenever I go walking, working around the house I listen to music from the 1930's to the 1980's. Some people are surprised that I still dance since I've had a heart attack and bypass surgery. I'm not dead yet. Dancing is just another form of exercise...

What a terrible shame that we didn't have more exposure to this woman and her incredible voice and the fact that the funk brothers were virtually unknown in. The industry is another shame because that's an era that will never be repeated in this country. Those men were absolutely phenomenal. And all they did was entertain us. To them it was just playing music and jamming together as a group but to us that lived it. It's something we carried through out our lives. I would give anything to go back and do it again. God bless all you've people for what you gave us.

Not really a troll either, but I respect others opinions. You apparently aren't a musician and that's alright. There are more people that aren't musicians than are.
