Joan Rivers is a liar she called Johnny Carson after she got the show and personally talk to him so for her to say that she could not have called him is totally wrong and is a total lie she was just loyal to him he made her career she even devoted books to him over 20 years on his show she was a great guest host she could’ve stayed in that role but she got greedy went behind his back got burned and then her husband killed himself over it so she made some really bad decisions and now she’s on the show lying about it

Her clothes and jewelry are top class. I bought a necklace for my mother one time. It was the first piece of Joan’s jewelry I ever bought. My sister saw it, she loved it. I valued her opinion cause she always shopped at high end stores even for costume jewelry. When I told her it was Joan’s she loved it. Wanted to keep it when mother died. Of course I said sure. She thought I should have it. Also mom used to wear my jewelry. I’d come to her house and she’d say I like that. I want to wear it a while. So I’d take it off and give it to her. I had a smoky topaz ring I bought from this girl that lost her fiancé in a car accident shortly before their wedding. My mom wanted to wear it all the time. So I let her. Anyway when she died I took it back. One day my sister said I can’t find mothers ring. I asked which one? She told me the smoky topaz. I said it’s was mine I took it home with me. She said no the one mom wore all the tine. I said yes. So I got it out of my jewelry box and cleaned it up and wrapped it up and gave it to her for Mother’s Day. lol She loves it. Wears it allot. I hardly ever wore it. I’m glad to give it to my sister since she loved it so much.

@@sxnico That could be true. Lucille Ball started out as a beauty model, then a straight actress, then comedy. I think Lucille Ball tried to play down her beauty with make-up, hair, and clothes. Joan Rivers definitely did seem to get prettier over time. I think she suddenly decided to be pretty and started to highlight her beauty more with clothes, make-up, and hair. Anyway, two beautiful women.

@@ClarenceFisher I agree. The amazing thing is that she was 50 years old in 1983 and 60 years old in 1993 and she looked fabulous. Very pretty. My guess is that in her early years Joan Rivers tried to tone down her beauty so it didn't get in the way of comedy.
