Fantastic setup!! Great description of how you build a cart, then work out of it. I wish more people would think about that system. Slick little pull-out work table, as well.

I think I have to agree, this is probably my favorite trailer yet. I’ve likely seen about 30 videos at this point. Love how you took some of Ron Paulk’s ideas, but didn’t over build it. Great use of the packout system. I’ve been using it for the past few months and love how it gives all your tools a home on the job as well as in the trailer/truck. Makes for a much more organized job site. Would love to see the updated version as it evolves

This probably gave me the most inspiration out of a lot of videos I have seen! Two years in trim carpentry now and getting my trailer in the next month. Will definitely be re watching multiple times!

Thank! I’m glad it’s got some useful Info. If I could do it over I would have made some storage under my cabinets for ladders and some behind for work table. I have modified my current set up several times but to cheap to buy new plywood to re build it all nice and clean. Lol.

Honestly I love how (no disrespect) basic this trailer is. Just bought a 6x12 and have been watching trailer videos for awhile. It has been seriously overwhelming with the amount of time and detail some people put into some of them. Your trailer is more my style. I feel like I have a general idea now 😄

What about theft? One Christmas time,my crew showed up and the trailer door was done. Everything that wasn't in the 2 locked job boxes was stolen. Where I live trailering the thing everywhere would Bae a pain. Thank you for your thoughts.

I pay about 13 bucks a month for insurance on the tools and 16 for the trailer. If someone takes it I’m taking my retirement check early 😂😂

So, would you buy the Kapex again and or the Best Fence? Or just use the Dewalt and put the money towards something else. I need something with extension wings. And, I have a little sliding Kobalt saw for trim. My Dewalt stays in my shop. But I am ready for something bigger.

For a shop kaypex and ug stand. Kaypex is great for small jobs on site but it’s not a heavy duty stand I would trim a house out with. It’s my favorite stand because of the built in tape but it’s just not heavy enough for production work.

@@zackbridgman okay, so Kapex would be good for the shop? What about the Kapex saw? Would you buy again? Also weee you saying the Kapex stand is the best or the Best Fence?

@@travisandtracyjacobs6198 best fence is garbage. Never buy again. Kapex stand is awesome for punch list and shop use but not heavy duty enough to do production trim work. The kaypex is a nice saw for the shop because it sits flat to the wall and is a slider.
