The Joba Beasts and the the Racing Track and Arena are a huge jump in difficulty for sure. RAC2 had a lot of that imo. Boldan comes to mind first with it's HUGE jump in difficulty.

*EDIT: Check my Channel for a Video on how I run Ratchet and Clank on my PC and the settings and why they do what they do.* *So this is a reupload because naughty f word title.* This IS being played fully on an Emulator, PCXS2 is so much better now, Ratchet and Clank games are not easy to run. Sony kinda uses Insomniac Games to make tech demos because their games almost always push the hardware to it's limits. I might make a video on my full settings and specs, if people want it (like at least 3 likes on this video and I'll do it)

its because the nanotech stays spawned in when you enter another chunk (entering the arena) and then because there's no box or floor it just falls straight through the ground and leaves an empty box. @@lotion5238

@@lotion5238 It was actually fault of the company who did the PS3 ports. Basically the ps3 save system doesnt clear all the flags what weapons have been used when you go to new planet. So if you used any weapon in previous planet and go to joba, the game thinks you used a weapon in Joba too. In order to get the skillpoint on PS3, you have to save on Joba, then quit the game to PS3 dashboard (not just rac 2 menu, that doesnt clear the flags) and then start the game again and do the skill point. Then you can use turrets and wrench and even environmental kills, as long as you dont fire any weapons after booting the game up. The skillpoint works as intended on PS2, this is only needed for PS3 version.

Nah, the stupid "Use only melee weapons against the thug leader" one is the worse. He can fire at you while walking out of your range, and then there are 5,000 helicopters that constantly make annoying sounds. A 2 minute fight now drags on for 10 minutes.

I swear, these games where so whack sometimes. Back when I played the Ratchet games, whenever I encountered something odd, I was never truely sure, if the developers just trolled me, or if the game was buggin' for no reason. Can't have shit on these planets xD

@@lotion5238 Yeah, I think I heard about that too sometime. What I meant, was more so levels loading incorrectly and such from entering certain areas or going through too fast, but maybe, it was messing with that hidden system as well. I personally don't like that at all. Imagine getting babyed, and you don't even know it. It's like an early form of the "skill based matchmaking" debacle in cod.
