Saying NO to things that don't align with a person's priorities is a tough mental shift in the beginning of their mindset growing from employee to entrepreneur. Speaking on my behalf, saying no to things like impulse spending was tough during the infancy to intermediate section of my side hustle journey. Now to not cut down on buying things on the fly like clothing and shoes and sneakers, I look at money differently. What kind of side hustle do you have right now, Nathalie?

Nice video!! Very engaging. Rich people have assets, which are inflation proof. On the other hand, earned income is vulnerable to inflation. That's why the rich get richer in inflationary environments. An example, wealthy person may own several homes, rental properties(Commercial/Residential), businesses, productive land, equities, bonds, etc. The average W2 employee gets taxed the highest rate, they own almost no productive assets.

Traveling Wind Turbine Technician, one of the best jobs in America, hands down. No college degree, you can just find a school and get all the certs you'll need in about a month (It's called GWO Certification, look it up). The industry is always hiring and you can expect to make $80k to $100k in your first year. Salaries range between $50k to $60k/year + another $45k to $55k per diem/year (and your per diem money is non taxable). Most companies will have you working on a 6/1 schedule (6 weeks on, 1 week off). And there are plans to build off shore wind farms in the next 5 years, the income of an Off shore technician is around $140k/year but for that position you'll need more certs and more experience, I think it's a minimum of 2 years. Worst part about the job: Actually climbing the towers! It's the most brutal workout. Best part about the job: The views! and the income.

It's all about where you work as a journeyman, you should seriously look into becoming a traveler in the trades.I live in Illinois and was a journeyman electrician, I worked with a lot of guys here that were travelers from Florida and Arizona. They usually made at least double their salary here opposed to being journeymen at home. They could work as little as 8 or 9 months out of the year and still almost double the salaries they were making before becoming travelers.

The only college bachelors degrees that are useful are computer science if you want to be a software engineer, nursing if you want to become a RN or higher, and Biology/medicine if you want to become a doctor.
