I wish I had your video when I was looking for info on the Mughal court fashions for women when I was making my portrait doll of Empress Nur Jahan! It's hard to find English language sources on the gowns and construction. I was also impressed by what you said about how the jewelry was one way to distinguish between the upper class women of Hindu vs. Muslim background. I definitely will watch the Bollywood movie you cited. It's so welcome to have a KZitem fashion researcher and commentator who explores non-western cultures. If you could cover other Chinese dynasties, those of Japan and Korea, and the various maritime empires of SE Asia, that would be so welcome and fill a gap in sources out there. Thank you so much!

Thank you again! Nur Jahan is such an interesting and powerful figure, must be a lovely doll. I wish they made more movies about those amazing ladies. I'll have to research those as well. And I hope you enjoy the movie too.

@@mayetta88 I am an Indian ma'am and I really sorry for his remarks, in India there is a trend going on demonizing mughal and whatever they contributed to India and world, so these are people of that product, I come from a family which were the advisory of mughal Court and I very well the contributions of mughals from jewelry, dress, cuisines to architecture, so they hate what being a outsider like mughals contributed to India, you doing a great job and really loved it
