My grandfather always laughed and joked. He got lung cancer and stopped laughing. I went everyday to the hospital when he was in ICU. I cant sing at all. But I didnt care about the drs or the nurses I got down on my knee and belted this song out to him even gave that last note my all. He started laughing and he said keep your day job. To see him laugh one more time was worth all the embarrassment. Love you grandpa

I'm autistic. I just sang this song via videocall to my girlfriend, with my not great singing voice but who cares. I did it in a mall, and my voice carries 😂 Got some looks like "WTF is he so happy for?" and "why is he singing with that awful voice 😂😂😂 Most importantly my girlfriend loved it and we both cried happy tears. I'm 41 now, and I have never sung much, so ofcourse this is the first time I sang a song to a woman, or to anyone. I never figured I would sing to anyone but my kids from a former relationship either but, life takes strange turns. Now, I'm at the happiest place in my life, ever. I never thought I'd experience happiness but, here we are 😊😊😊😊😊😊 It took me a long time to stop caring if other people think badly or say shit about me, it's their problem not mine.

I had pretty much given up, for some reason getting girls was never hard it was staying together that was the problem. Have you ever seen anyone else that perform with that much passion?! I'am at awe to almost paralysed every time i see him perform. the intensity the extreme ways that he put his body through just so he can squeeze that itty, bity, tiny tone that needed to make it all sound just perfect, its incredible. Yes mariah carey and bette midler does have similar hand gesture, but theirs are rehearse and staged that entertainment for the eyes and ears only. You cannot rehearse passion, it a "in the moment" thing, that cannot be brought, you either have it or you don't. It from deep within you and the movement that go with it is not eye entertainment, but the by-product, the flow of the energy it entertainment for the soul and i'am so bummed that i just found out he died 2 years ago(2014). Life sucks sometime, all the good ones died first( robin williams/ david bowie). Why couldn't it be one of those useless politician that racking up the world at the moment : ( [Rest in Peace -True passion- Joe Cocker]

Your coment really touched me, and I hope that now that a couple of years have passed that you are returning to an even keel. I have been through two great losses 15 years apart and was able to fight off depression. I discovered in all this that we are more resilient than we would have believed in our throws, and joy in life can be recovered. I hope you have reached there, if not yet, take heart, as it's each of our birthright. Best wishes from Sweden.
